We had an amazing trip to Berlin (and other places in East German) and we’ve visited some absolutely breathtaking abandoned places. It’s overwhelming when you are in an abandoned place that’s the size of a village.

We have visited an abandoned Soviet military base;

And an abandoned Soviet hospital;

I’ve revisited the amazing mine we have photographed in the summer. It was absolutely sweet to see it again, and to improve my photo’s of the other time. It is such a dark building, which is hard to photograph, what resulted the last time in a lot of bad photo’s. But this time I knew better how to photograph in such dark circumstances.

My costume was a personal interpretation of Alice, from wonderland. The main piece of my costume was my self-made mushroom-umbrella. I had no idea how it would look like finished, when I started, but I think it went out cute (:

I’m back from Scotland ! It was absolutely great, but it’s also nice to be home again. We stayed one week in the north of Scotland, and one week in the west, at the island Kintyre. The roots of my family, the Kentie family, are on Kintyre, so it was nice to be there.

I’ve seen some amazing things, like a deer graveyard and an abandoned church, which was our closest ‘neighbour’ by one of the houses we stayed in. We were in the real middle of nowhere.

We are in Scotland at the moment for holiday, which seemed the perfect time to update my website. As you can see, the layout has changed, and the galleries work a lot better now. My personal website feels a lot more personal, and I’m very glad with the result.

Also, I’ve seen some nice things here in Scotland:

I’m busy to reorganize my portfolio a bit; putting some galleries together and separating some galleries; uploading new images and deleting bad images.
